Project Description
Crown Castle was moving from their existing head office to St Leonards and would take over 4 levels and the basement.
This project included the removal of all existing services for these 4 levels and decommissioning of existing electrical infrastructure throughout the building.
The construction of a new end of trip facility and basement storage area, server rooms for the companies IT infrastructure, 4 new levels of offices, meeting rooms, staff areas and kitchens took Place.
Kerfoot was contracted for the installation of all electrical services including a completed new power distribution system including UPS back up, new Cat 6A cabling solution and server room service, Lighting and energy efficient control system and metering upgrades
Project Accolades
The project was made a little more complicated by one of the existing tenancy’s having a server that could not lose power at any time as it supported many overseas offices.
The project team at Kerfoot worked with Crown Castle, The head contractor and this existing tenancy to completely upgrade the rising mains for the building with no disruption to this server.
This large scale installation was completed on time and the server rooms was even handed over early allowing the client to relocated and set up their infrastructure prior to their big move saving a lot of un wanted down time.
