Project Description
Kerfoot recently completed working on two childcare centres for the City of Sydney. One was in Huntley St, Alexandria and the other was in the Crescent in Annandale. These two early learning childcare centres were constructed after the 2013 childcare needs study found that the City of Sydney had a shortfall of places. Each centre provides childcare for 80 children living in the inner city.
For Kerfoot this project included the complete design, supply and installation of all electrical services including: High Voltage substation to feed the Alexandria site, Mechanical Electrical, Lighting and general power, Fire, Smoke and Exits, Security & CCTV and level 2 connections.
The project was challenging with contaminated soil, ground water, connections to the Ausgrid network both high and low voltage and working at heights to name a few but the team and everyone involved work together to complete an amazing project that the client is extremely happy with
