Project Description:
Kerfoot was contracted for the supply & installation of electrical services & power distribution to the new combined building for the School Administration & Sydney Centre for Innovation in learning team.
This building required quality lighting of work spaces while adhering to being completely energy efficient.
All electrical installation was required to be fully integrated to existing buildings systems.
Kerfoot installed photo-voltaic cells and a natural ventilation system throughout the building & integrated with the mechanical and lighting control system was effectively used to achieve this.
A state of the art NHP power monitoring system was installed.
Construction was undertaken while school was still in operation & there was to be no disruption to the staff & students daily activities.
Project Accolade:
The lighting designers concept was successfully achieved due to the hard work and quality workmanship from the Kerfoot team.
The successful completion of this project has led to more works for both the head contractor and the client also the success of our apprentices having training in specific fields that they previously hadn’t had the opportunity to.
In summary the completion of this project has enabled Kerfoot to expand taking on more apprentices and larger projects.
