Project Description
The project was located within the control centre of the Lane Cove Tunnel and included refurbishment of 2 office levels and an upgrade of a 24/7 Incident Control room for the Lane Cove Tunnel Offices.
For the team at Kerfoot the project involved the complete upgrade of all electrical services to suit the new layout. Including new lighting, Emergency lighting, smart lighting control and power for the new offices.
As the offices are 24/7 and monitor one of Sydney’s busiest tunnels the team at Kerfoot had to ensure everything was coordinated and planed perfectly.
Distribution Board shutdowns were not possible unless power was maintained to the 24/7 Incident Control room and support staff.
Time lines were set in place very early on and the team at Kerfoot worked to meet these time lines with all shutdowns going to plan.
The client remained operational throughout the duration of the project with The Kerfoot team to thank for this.
The Team was praised for their hard work and planning as this project did not disrupt the client in any way and has been considered a huge success.
