Project Description

For Kerfoot this project included the complete design, supply and installation of all electrical services to the new pavilion including integrations with the existing warship and submarine services.

The scope included a new 400amp supply for the main switchboard and power distribution system for the pavilions facilities and existing vessels, including a step down transformers to convert AC power for the submarine.

General power to the pavilions facilities including corrosion proof under wharf reticulation, marine grade submains, fibre optic bones and cat6A structured cabling system for the pavilion and vessels, lighting control system integrating with the interactive audio visual installation also including a full upgrade of the clients existing head end, fire detection and EWIS system integrated with the existing vessels system, access control, CCTV, security duress, ventilation for the function area, control system for the wharfs sewerage control system and lightning protection system to protect the facade of the new pavilion from lightning strikes

Project Accolade

The project has been considered a huge success by the senior management team at Kerfoot, the client and their board members. The project ran to budget and was carried out by the Kerfoot team with high standards of quality and workmanship. The success of this project led to two new major clients for Kerfoot who were both impressed with the work produced throughout the museum.

It also provided us with the opportunity to build a hardworking, dedicated project team that is well equip and experienced for tackling difficult installations in the future and other projects that may arise that require the skills of a high functioning project team.
