Project Description
The Westmead Health Precinct is poised to revolutionise medical education with its state-of-the-art teaching environment located on the sixth floor of the Westmead Innovation Centre (WIC). This advanced facility features a 16-bed simulation area integrating virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies. Lifelike mannequins, capable of breathing, blinking, and speech, enhance the hands-on learning experience for students, preparing them for critical situations like cardiac arrests and patient interactions.
Kerfoot was entrusted with designing and constructing the electrical services for the project, covering power distribution, lighting control, security systems, and communications infrastructure.
