Job Description
In keeping with our wonderful relationship with FDC, Kerfoot Pty. Ltd. was engaged by FDC Fit out & Refurbishment, to complete the Make good and Fit out of Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the premises at Pier 8, Millers Point, Sydney for the new tenant, Clemenger Group.
The complexity of the fit out at this particular premises proved challenging. The main one being access. Not only was it a challenge to deliver materials to the Pier, but also the access while getting them to the floors and installation due to the nature of the floor design. The heritage aspect of the Building needed to be maintained while undertaking this Fit out.
The unique design of a Federation Style 3 Storey Shed Built in the 1820-1830 period, displayed technical and creative excellence at that time.
Since then, the Wharf has had a few mezzanine levels added, which added to the complexity of the installation.
Kerfoot was engaged to complete the installation of architectural lighting, installation of new distribution boards and a complete re configuration of the structured cabling system for the new tenant.
Our team of skilled tradesman and dedicated workers ensured that the project was delivered on time and with a high level of workmanship that our building trades have come to expect of us.
