Project Description
GWA were looking to relocate to the large new offices recently construction with in Norwest Business Park.
The project was to be completed within the Christmas break to allow the Staff at GWA to return from there Holidays and move straight in to the new offices.
The time frame was short and the project was awarded as a complete design and construct. The team at Kerfoot immobilised very quickly when awarded this project completing their design for client approval in the short time allocated.
As the office sizes were very large two teams with one site manager were appointed to this project to ensure the quality and speed of works was maintained.
To allow for the needs of GWA’s large communications network and mechanical requirements a major upgrade of the floors electrical services was undertaken with alterations to the main switch board and supply authority meters completed after hours to minimise disruptions to the buildings existing tenants.
This project was considered a huge success as it was the first time Kerfoot had worked with the head contractor and client before. The project was delivered on time and on budget the client moving in as expected and they have been extremely happy with the new premises.
