Kerfoot Tendered and was awarded the first stage of a very large relocation project with in the Oracle Head office at North Ryde.
The project involves the complete staged refurbishment of four levels of offices, amenities and the fit out of a new server room.
Once completed Kerfoot was awarded all other stages including the refurbishment of the cafeteria area and new Gym for the staff,
All stages took place while the building remained occupied for the duration of the project.
The office fit out component of the project included a new main server room on level 6 of the building, a complete upgrade of the existing main switch board and the installation of a new UPS needed to happen to allow this server room to run.
Kerfoot worked with the clients IT team to ensure this installation was as smooth as possible providing temporary power to all critical services and completing all works out side of peak time.
As a part of the new staff gym project the old server room was decommissioned with kilometres of data & power cabling removed from site.
Over the course of these staged projects the team at Kerfoot formed a close working relationship with the facility’s team at Oracle and since the successful completion of these project Kerfoot is now the onsite electrician for this site and others that are under the Oracle corporation.
This project has shown how effective the team at Kerfoot is when delivering a project and ensuring the client’s needs are maintained once the project has finished and we have left site.
