Kerfoot Projects was awarded the electrical services fit out for the St Joseph’s College Chapel. Kerfoot very excited to be a part of this project.
This project was a refurbishment which include disconnection and removal of existing services. None of the existing cabling was able to be re-used as the existing services was wire in the old cotton cable.
The Chapel in heritage listed, This fit out required a sensitive approach to ensure the culture significance is maintained and minimal impact to the existing heritage features.
This project took a lot of planning and coordination to place prior to any works could take place. Kerfoot had to design and construct services pathways reticulation for new power, lighting, communications, AV and security services which include cable tray, chasing and penetrations with considering the historical implications of the site. Kerfoot were responsible for the consultation and coordination of all service which had to run past all parties, builder, architect, heritage consultant, project manager, private certifier, fire safety engineer, structural engineer and St Joseph’s College Representatives
This fit out/ refurbishment include the following

- New distributions Board
- Sub main cabling
- Cable support systems
- Light and power cabling
- Installations luminiares
- Floor boxes
- C_BUS lighting control system
- Emergency lighting
- CAT 7A cabling
- Communications back bone cabling
- Electronic access control system
Kerfoot management are very proud of this project and the team that helped competed it. Kerfoot can state the client is extremely satisfied and the first MASS in the refurbished Chapel was a great success.
