Kerfoot along with its Level 1 partners supplied and installed a new 400kVA substation off the Ausgrid network in Alexandria for a new city of Sydney child care facility.
The installation included new underground conduits installed within a busy private road to accommodate the new 300mm² copper triplex ring main from an existing substation over 150 meters away.
The project was not with out its challenges, the team had to contend with large amounts of ground water, existing services for all local businesses & contaminated soil.
Through careful planning & management the team at Kerfoot was able to successfully install this new substation with out any disruption to local businesses, all contaminated soil was safely remediated and removed from site complying with all site & council regulations.
