Australian National Maritime Museum - Wharf 7 Project

Project Description

This project was under taken by the Australian National Maritime Museum to consolidate all facility management staff into one office.

This area already housed the majority of the management team so keeping this area operational while works took place was critical.

The project was awarded to Kerfoot as a design and construct, Kerfoot worked with the client and head contractor to ensure the design was functional and fell within the clients budget.

Kerfoot project team had recently completed a large project on site and this project had been awarded due to the success of it. The team remained the same for this project and the outcome did to. The client was extremely happy with Kerfoots ability to complete the project with no disruption to the staff at any stage throughout the project.

Switch Boards, Communication infrastructure and other major services were upgraded to suit the new offices and the project was completed on time.

Over the course of this staged project the team at Kerfoot formed a close working relationship with the facility’s team at ANMM and since the successful completion of these projects Kerfoot is now the onsite electrician for this site and all major projects.

This project has shown how effective the team at Kerfoot is when delivering project and ensuring the client’s needs are maintained once the project has finished and we have left site.
